Welcome to Triangle Jiu-Jitsu:

The official Royce Gracie affiliate of Durham, NC

Triangle Jiu Jitsu is as three sided as the name entails. First we live in the area known as the Triangle. Second, the shape itself is fundamental to Jiu Jitsu due to it being equally based in all positions and difficult to adjust. But most importantly is the third side, and that is that our Jiu Jitsu itself is 3 three sided. Here at TJJ we offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and of course Self Defense. This alone sets us apart as the only school in Durham offering MMA, BJJ, and Self Defense as taught by the Gracie Family for over 75 years.

Jiu Jitsu has many different benefits for a healthy life style and its practitioners are diverse in shape, size age and gender. Here at TJJ we old, young, men and women all trying to attain there own goals through the help of Jiu Jitsu. This is one of the best aspects of training here. We have several people who compete in Grappling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts competition. However there is no pressure or requirement to do so. Students at TJJ will receive equal attention to detail no matter what reasons they train. This has led to a family like atmosphere, where ego and attitude are checked at the door. Our goal is to help you become the person you want to be through hard work and positive training.
